Where do your rice and grains come from?
We purchase our rice from farmers in Arkansas, California, Florida, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, and Texas. Our jasmine rice is imported from Thailand. Our basmati rice is imported from India and Pakistan. Our quinoa is imported from Peru and Spain. Our pearl couscous is imported from Canada.
Are Success® products Kosher approved?
Yes! All of our products are: Success® White Rice, Brown Rice, Basmati Rice, Jasmine Rice, Quinoa, and Pearl Couscous are Kosher approved by Star K.
Do you make Success® products in a bigger bag?
Yes! Our Success® White, Brown, and Jasmine Rice 32oz. sizes are all available in larger bags—each has six family size bags (5.33 oz. each), which are 50% larger than the bags in our other cartons (3.5 oz each). Each family size bag makes about 3 cups cooked rice.
Can I put rice in a garbage disposal?
We do NOT recommend you put rice, raw or cooked, into your garbage disposal. Rice expands when you add water and cook it in a pan, and it does the same inside your pipes or garbage disposal.
Can I feed Success® products to my dog or cat?
Success® Rice is an excellent food choice for both healthy and sick dogs and cats. While Success® Quinoa and Pearl Couscous is considered generally safe for dogs and cats, make sure you consult your veterinarian for guidance.

How long do you cook Success® Boil-in-Bag products?
Simply drop a Boil-in-Bag of our high-quality rice, quinoa, or pearl couscous directly into the middle of the pot of water or broth. Boil our rice or quinoa no more than 10 minutes and our pearl couscous no more than 5-7 minutes—for rice, quinoa, and pearl couscous that's guaranteed to always cook right! How long does it take to cook Success® Rice & Grains?
One of the best things about the Boil-in-Bag is that it only takes 10 minutes or less to cook! Just reference the product packaging for specific cooking times.
How much dry rice is in a Boil-in-Bag?
Each bag contains about 100g, or 0.5 cup, of dry rice, which yields 1 1/2 – 2 cups of cooked rice.
Can I season the Boil-in-Bag rice, grains, or quinoa?
Of course! You can season our products however you choose. Try cooking them in water infused with herbs or spices, broth, coconut milk, or other liquids such as juice for sweeter recipes. Find more cooking inspiration for recipes in our Kitchen cooking section!
Is the Boil-in-Bag food safe?
The Success Boil-in-Bag is made of a combination of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) which is FDA-approved for food contact.
Is the Boil-in-Bag recyclable?
YES! The Boil-in Bag is made of a combination of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) and is recyclable when clean and dry (at stores that accept plastic bags and wraps for recycling).
Given the recent press on cooking with plastics in the microwave, is it safe to cook Success® products in the microwave?
Yes. The Success® Boil-in-Bag is FDA-approved for food contact.
